The NECBC posts on this page news story excerpts related to member activities and U.S./Canada relations.  Be sure to check back for updates.

On November 21, the NECBC was honored to present its Leadership Award to David Alward, Canada’s Consul General to New England. David has been a tremendous representative of Canada in the U.S. and New England for over four years. He is an advocate of strong bilateral relations, and during the “USMCA” negotiations he has articulated well and strongly the benefits of renewing mutually beneficial trade arrangements. He is well-known and very highly regarded throughout the New England states, from governors’ offices and legislatures to business groups, to local community centers and cultural organizations. Congratulations, David, many thanks, and we look forward to our continued work with you.
