The NECBC posts on this page news story excerpts related to member activities and U.S./Canada relations.  Be sure to check back for updates.

The NECBC also has a periodic newsletter, called "Connections", which reports on Council activities and provides information on Canada, the provinces, and cross-border trade and investment trends.  It informs readers of business opportunities, upcoming events, and activities of other Council members.  Past editions are posted in this section.

On May 17, Mayor Mike Savage of Halifax, Nova Scotia addressed the NECBC at a luncheon held at the Hampshire House in Boston. The Mayor addressed the advantages of Halifax for economic growth and business investment – from its pioneering work in ocean research to its universities, outstanding port, access to key work locations, and talented work force. The Mayor was accompanied by representatives of the Halifax Partnership. Shown here are (l to r) Gerald Weseen of Emera, Mayor Savage, and Canada's Consul General David Alward.
